George Cardenas has spent his career solving problems in both the private and public sectors.
He served in the United States Navy before building a professional career in accounting, auditing, strategic sourcing and management consulting.
For twenty years, he represented Chicago's 12th Ward in the City Council, working directly with residents, businesses and city agencies to deliver neighborhood services and investments.
Today, as a Commissioner on the Cook County Board of Review, he works on one of the issues hitting Chicago families hardest: property taxes.
George knows City Hall from the inside.
